Balerion - his names means
the black dread, and for good reason.
Not much is known about his history prior to forming the Pack. He met
Dreamfyre as a young male in the prime of his life, and wooed her easily and stoically. He built up his Pack using dirty methods, including pup stealing and raiding, poaching members from neighbouring Packs - especially the females that caught his eye.
As his empire expanded, he became more selective about the quality of those he allowed to serve under him. Many of his own offspring were chased young or killed outright.
He holds some deeply superstitious beliefs, many of which no one else in the Pack hold. He is deeply afraid of drawing the ire of the Gods, a fact that his favourite females use against him as a subtle weapon to get their way.
