Ares

Ares is Taiga and Opal's adopted daughter. She was born to one of the other female wolves who didn't have enough time to look after the full litter - Taiga related to her, and finally being able to see the grief that a mother goes through when abandoning her child, decided to adopt her as his own. Ares is well aware of her parentage but still only see's opal as her true mother because of the effort she put into her. She still shares a good relationship with her true mother, Ember.

Unfortunately, Ares' reputation as a fierce combatant has reached well past the point of preceding her. Which has led to all of her possible future mates rejecting her in favour of more meek and motherly females. As a result she has grown to hate the idea of marriage, rejecting it completely so that her own rejections do not hurt her so badly. At this point, no male has been able to get past her tough exterior to the gooey marshmallow she truly is.

Amon does envy his adopted sister, mainly due to his father's more open affection towards her. This has led to a cordial but near stranger relationship between the pair. They simply share a home.
