SpoilerTwo young wolves trot up to your pack, shoulders bumping and giggling to themselves. One had fur remarkably similar to that of a coyote, brown swirls dappling her fur with natural accents of feathers and ferns. The other had brightly glowing eyes that would be eerie if not for her silly puppy grin, dark crimson horns along her pitch black fur.
"Trick or treat!" The two say in chorus, both having pouches made in a similar style to wicker baskets placed around their torsos and resting on their flanks.

They both let out small, excited gasps, the coyote-esk one wagging her tail in delight and yipping, "Thank you so much! H-happy hauntings!

A young coyote-like wolf giggles, greeting him cheerfully, "Hello! Happy Howloween~" her multi-colored eyes twinkle, "Here~ have this, I think you might like it?" she offers him a leafy parcel.

A young coyote-like wolf bounds over to greet them, feathers and leaves tucked throughout her fur. She smirks, "Y'know... legends say that on the darkest night, howling brings an evil spirit alive in these forests~" she pauses for a long moment, resuming in a cheerful tone, "But, luckily, you two are here on a bright night! Want a little something?" she offers them both leafy parcels.

A figure slips out from the forest, filled with warm scents of autumn, looking like a coyote at first until she's recognized as a wolf with multicolored eyes, feathers and leaves decorating her pelt.
"Happy Howloween!" She says cheerfully, dropping a leafy parcel into the little pup's carved pumpkin basket.Nov. 11th 2023
Finding out she was going to be the next Queen of Steamhope Pack? The alpha? Oh gods, oh gods, oh gods-
Don't get it wrong, she loved her pack! Probably the most popular choice to be the next leader even if Queenling 👑 hadn't named her the heir, but like the Queenling 👑 she felt waves of anxiety. The only wolf she knew wouldn't be afraid of the responsibility is Lilachoof, the original leader and founder of Streamhope and Queenling's adopted mother. Oh, how Annamarie looked up to Lilachoof... even the arrogant Queenling 👑 was in constant awe of her own mother! The stories and legends went on, some told by Reka, the dragon wolf- as she was known by the rest of the pack- who was close to Lilachoof as a pup.
The lunar pendant, a glowing sapphire blue thing the color Lilachoof's eyes had been, was passed down to Queenling👑, who had seen it only fitting to give it to Annamarie- not a part of the previous royal family, but a kind young wolf who would lead well.
The nervousness thrummed through Annamarie everyday. As a two-year old, she was older than the past two leaders had been- Lilachoof founding the pack when she was a year old! While it gave her time to be a normal pup playing with her packmates, she felt like she wasn't good enough... like somehow, by being a year older when taking the lead, that she was destined to do even less...
Queeling 👑 was getting older. The time drew close. Only a few moons (15 rollovers) until she passed to the Spirit Wolves. Every time Queenling 👑 tries to prepare Annamarie, it only grow the young wolf's anxiety. Glowing wolves of the moon? Strange fluffy squirrels, elegant wild horses, and haunting green lights? Beasts and terrible storms that ripped through the lands?! It sounded crazy yet it was undeniably true! How could she ever be ready?

She wouldn't. But that'd have to be okay.
Do her best, she decided. She'd have her friend Witchcraft (Shaded'Leaf's apprentice healer) and FUTURE STUD (the young husky-eyed scout taking after Bluefire) by her side to help.
