Circe

Named after the infamous witch of Greek mythology who turned humans into animals. Her footnote is from William Shakespeare's Macbeth.

Chased from her former pack for threatening to turn the other wolves into squirrels, Circe wandered the wild woods until she eventually stumbled upon the Inkwell Pantheon. After much hemming and hawing, she eventually decided to join the pack, only to be immensely disappointed when she discovered that the herbalist role was already filled. Well! How can she scratch that witchy itch now?!

As it turns out, potions and an expert knowledge in the anatomy of wolves and other animals can be repurposed in hunting. Circe is quite the capable huntress, able to pinpoint the best angle of attack suitable for her athletic level.

Her pair bond is Celio, who she admires for his singular focus. Yes, it can be detrimental in certain circumstances, but she still idolizes the way with which he can disregard everything in the face of whatever he's interested in. Circe also takes great delight in the way Celio pays attention only to her when she infodumps on him about animal physiology and potion-making. It's cute! It very much makes her feel seen and appreciated.
