Many say that he steals souls. The dead continue to look at the world of the living through the eyes that appear on the muzzle of this wolf. They are never closed - some stare straight ahead, while others look around with interest and sometimes even seem to laugh at what they see. If the eye is closed, then after a few seconds it disappears, leaving no trace. This happens imperceptibly for the wolf itself, as well as the opening of new eyes.
They do not cause him any discomfort or pain. They are not parasites, but they are not helpers either - they are inconspicuous uninvited companions.

To tell the truth, there are several nuances.
First, Stråleglans doesn't steal souls. You won't die in a matter of days if that wolf looks at you. No one even knows for sure whether you will become one of his many eyes after death.
Secondly, it is impossible to say for sure whether his eyes are connected with the souls of the dead. He does not know why this is happening to him, how it happens and on what circumstances it depends. His knowledge is limited only by the fact that They are alive and that They came from another world. It doesn't matter if They were ever bound by flesh and blood.
He is clearly sure of only one thing - if this happens, then this is necessary for something. Whether he is a transporter of souls or a bridge between worlds, everything is going as it should.
