not especially "special" on his own, besides his peculiarly glowing eyes and the fact that nobody knows where exactly he came from.
he apparently just appeared on the mountain one day... much to the chagrin of the sentinels.

a young Ceithir originally took a liking to him for his lack of respect for the pack's ways, with Còig seeing the winged pup the same as any other puppy rather than meeting him with wide-eyed reverence.
he returned the sentiment as Ceithir was one of few that didn't take issue with his stances -- that, and he had a soft spot for pups. especially ones practically orphaned for their differences. he soon took on the role of the winged one's guardian, and has remained in that position ever since.

a technically unofficial peak wolf, he is not on the greatest terms with the rest of the hexad besides his charge; he often gets into arguments with the others due to their clashing ideals. it's clear he only remains with them for Ceithir, with whom he does not have - or cause - issues.
rather, he manages to be completely cordial and even affectionate with Ceithir and Ceithir alone -- a fact that brings much annoyance to the others.
