Dᴏᴠᴇ Fʀᴏsᴛ

Name Information: Named after a Warrior Cat OC of mine (Dovefrost), her soft, motherly nature towards pups, yet combative personality towards grown wolves. Additionally named after her black and white Uneven Piebald pelt.

Volcanic/Geological Information: When a volcano which had a glacier on it rumbled and exploded millions of years ago, it forced the glacier -half melted- to carve out these beautiful stone arches.

Lore: During Kiche's reign, Dove Frost was Traded into Eclipse Keepers. After listening to Kiche's explanation of the duties of Eclipse Keepers had to the volcanos, Dove Frost took the importance of False and True Albino and Melanistic and Piebald puppies extremely seriously.

Dove Frost found a safe location in the clearing of natural forming arches, and insisted that Eclipse Keepers' pups be raised and protected there, by her. Kiche acknowledged the nursery-like environment, full of safe, inviting things a wolf pup may perhaps be intrigued by. She agreed to allow the nursery to be here.

Fiercely protective of the pups Dove Frost was, and no wolf dared to approach her - aside from the nursing mothers of the pups, who Dove did not object to. So severe though was her protection, that not even the mates of the females were permitted inside the Arches Clearing, and some of the new Pupsitters Dove Frost was too combative with.

Kiche was unsympathetic to the -usually male- pupsitters that would come to her bleeding after Dove Frost laid her fangs across them for perhaps no reason other than suspicion. However, when Kiche's son, White Fang, took the position of Alpha, Dove Frost's obsessive behavior was permitted no longer.

She did not give up her pupsitter role without a fight - convinced that without her that the pups of Eclipse Keepers would not be safe. It took a physical fight and a lot of tactical convincing on White Fang's part to half convince, half force her to take on a hunter's role.

White Fang thought perhaps if she took some of her combative energy out of prey instead of her fellow Pupsitters, she would be less of a danger to her packmates, and less of a bad example to the newly born pups in the nursery. For the most part, it worked, and after a long day of hunting, Dove Frost is permitted to go spend the rest of the day and night in the Arches Clearing with the pups, where she is too tired to fight with her packmates, but still more than capable of protecting the young.

Becoming a hunter benefited Dove Frost in a way she did not expect; it is how she bonded to her mate, Typhoon Eye.
