Bivouac once was a part of an isolated pack, whom lived in a desert canyon by the river. They lived together peacefully there for many years - their remote location allowing them to avoid territory disputes with other packs.
Until one day, there was a terrible flash flood. It was unlike anything they had ever seen before - sending torrents of water crashing through the canyon. Bivouac and the rest of her packmates had to quickly scramble for higher ground, as they watched the rushing waters sweep away their home. Though not all their packmates were able to not able to climb quick enough. Often, by the time they even realized someone had fallen behind, it was already too late.
The true gravity of their loss was not fully realized until after the floodwaters had receded. They spent several days searching for their missing packmates. Some had managed to cling onto floating debris or rocky outcroppings, and were found further down the river. For many others however, not even their bodies were able to be recovered.
Devastated over the loss of his family and his home, Bivouac did his best to help the rest of his pack rebuild. However, Bivouac found that his home just didn't feel like home anymore. Her parents and siblings had all been lost in the flood, and everything else just reminded Bivouac of all that he had lost.
So, Bivouac decided to instead dedicate the rest of her life to helping other wolves who had been affected by the floods, and other natural disasters. Creating a small rescue organization which provides food, shelter, and medical aid to wolves in need.
Bivouc's pack pack believed that gender and identity were like water - fluid and ever-changing. As such, Bivouac uses both male and female pronouns.
