Ripred, first of her name, leader of the Denizens for its first eight years.
Her mate, Tiro, and her started this group. Their numbers grew as more wolves joined, but then during the second winter, some members were forced out, lest they all starve. Eidelweiss, Cicero, Ophelia, Clove. Ophelia left behind a child, as did Clove, the herbalist.
Now, at year 4, Crassus, Namara, and Pompey have been serving dutifully since the beginning and are rewarded with mates. Young wolves of the group are growing into their positions. Ripred II and Ripred III are well. Chiron, the adopted successor of Tiro looks promising. Caesar and others have joined. The pack is strong.
Year 4.5, Crassus has passed. The Golden Hunters still use his name from the origin of the pack. Now, their numbers swell with Pompey, Namara, Namara II, and Edelweiss Prime, son of Caesar. Clove II is herbalist. Another hunting group is the Necessary Ones, founded with the original Caesar, long since run off. Edelweiss was one, before she was sacrificed during the cold winter of year 2. Now, there is a full group of second generations. Tiro II, Ophelia II, Clove III, Caesar, and Ripred II.
Pompey the Hunter has now passed and now the Rule of Healing has been set in place. Unless anointed with the Denmother or Denfather markings, you will die if wounded. Two ruling families will one day inherit, one the warrior side, the other the stock breeders.
Year 5 Month 9, puppy death and Caesar's last whelping before he passes. Both the Golden Hunters and Necessary Ones are hunting groups that are filled currently. Clove II can no longer perform her sacred duty as herbalist and be pregnant. And so, Cicero Tiroson has taken over the task (one of two for males).
Year 6, Caesar's last days. Many new pups and the first new wolf invited in four years. Caesar Venator has passed in the winter winds of year 6.
