Spike was minding his own business, before he looked around to realise it had bacame very foggy. He stared into the fog, being able to barly see anything. When the fog cleared, and now that everything is blue, he was greeted by dark gray looking wolf, with piercing frost eyes.
"Why dont I show you around the pack?"
The large male said, as he smiled.
Spike was alittle weary, but he felt he ment no harm. So, he went on, to be given a tour.

Lore: Jagged Spike happened upon a dreary expanse of woodlands on his journey, made all the more unsettling to gaze upon in the midnight breeze. His curiosity piqued in spite of his common sense not to wander among lands unwelcoming, and he ventured through it, amazed at its unusual silence.
Not a bird nor bug sang in the summer air, as though this forest lay lifeless. And yet, the stillness of it all broke subtly, a strange wolf catching his eye in the distance.
He noted how the stranger appeared to watch him as he moved closer, and as he approached, he recognized the wolf to be a somewhat young wolf.
"Hello?" finally spoke, almost startled at how his voice echoed so loudly in the soundless forest. The wolf stirred some, though her gaze settled Jagged Spike with its warmth. "You are a traveler, I presume." She replied, her voice light and airy. Jagged's ears twitched awkwardly. "I am. My name is Jagged Spike. I come from Thetalons Pack."
"That is quite a ways away, I imagine." The wolf hummed. "I am Susumaru, the guide or informative of my pack."
"I apologize for my intrusion, Susumaru. I didn't know these were pack grounds."
"There is no need." She stood gradually, her eyes drifting over the traveler. "My pack is familiar with travelers. If you wish it, you may stay with us, that is if our Premier agrees with my decision."
With this invitation, Jagged made this pack his temporary home. He worked as a pupsitter, quite surprised at the number of pups that lived here, to the point that they outnumbered the adults. Upon his departure, he was given a bone to take with himself with for his future travels.

Lore: During one of his adventures, Jagged Spike stumbled upon a coniferous forest in the mountains. He felt tired from his journey here and decided to settle down in a small cave for the night. As he started to make his way into his resting place a wolf growled from behind him.
"How dare you trespass!"
Jagged Spike turned around in confusion and came face to face with a furious she-wolf.
"Fallow, hear him out! I'm sure he didn't mean to.." said another wolf, a worried expression on her face.
"I apologize for trespassing, I didn't know this was pack territory." Jagged barked.
Fallow's expression softened a bit, as if she recognized that the traveler was no threat.
"You seem tired." the other wolf barks.
"Yes, I've been traveling for a long time. I was thinking I could rest in that cave" - Jagged Spike pointed the den out - "But I won't if it's yours."
"Oh, don't worry! It isn't ours! We live in a hollow farther d-" the wolf began, only to be interrupted by Fallow. "It's on our territory, so it's ours!" she growled to the she-wolf.
"Oh come on, Fallow! It's clear he's no threat!" the other wolf pointed out warily, like she was scared Fallow would bite her if she objected any further.
"You don't know that! He could be a spy!" Fallow barked sharply.
"A spy from where? I don't know any other packs until miles from here!"
Fallow glanced from one wolf to the other with a frustrated expression on her face, then finally gave in with a sigh.
"Fine. You can stay."
"Why don't we show you to our home?" the she-wolf asked, glancing to Fallow as if she tought that she would object. Fallow gave a reluctant nod and so did Jagged Spike, gratefully.
"Veritas! Gather below the sharp ledge to hear my words!" Fallow howled. Wolves came streaming out of everywhere and Jagged Spike was quite shocked to see that none of them would even shoot a glance at him. They were all too focused on their leader. Fallow raised her tail and the entire clearing fell into great silence. The traveler felt a bit intimidated.
"Me and Goshawk found a traveler in our territory. We have decided that he may stay with us for a bit, the mountains are a dangerous biome after all."
Jagged Spike widened his eyes. Fallow was speaking as if this was her idea! She gave no credit to..Goshawk? - yes, that must be the other wolf's name - whatsoever!
Fallow paused as if she tought someone was going to object, then continued.
"That is all, pack dismissed!"
The pack streamed back into their respective dens, except for a young wolf, who came to them, wagging his tail excitedly.
"A traveler? Our pack hasn't had one in ages!" the wolf barked excitedly.
Fallow nodded.
"My name is Jagged Spike, nice to meet you!" he greeted.
"Pleased to meet you!" the wolf greeted too.
"This is my son, Egg slurper. He is a traveler too, though he doesn't seem to be doing very well with it. He hasn't left our pack once. "Fallow barked coldly.
"Egg slurper?" Jagged Spike asked, puzzled. Surely that wasn't his actual name?
"I couldn't come up with anything better." The leader rolled her eyes.
Egg slurper didn't seem to mind his mother's mean comment.
"Come on, I'll show you where you'll be staying!"
Egg slurper led him to a small cave.
"This is what we call the "Traveler's Rest"! The scouts and the travelers sleep here."
Jagged nodded.
"This is my nest. We can make yours riiiight there!" Egg slurper barked, pointing to a small space beside his own nest.
"Gosh, this wolf must be very lonely if he's this excited to see me.." Jagged Spike tought. He felt bad for Egg Slurper.
"C'mon! I'll show you my stick collection!" Egg barked gladly.
"So what role shall I take on?" Jagged Spike asked. It was the first day since the night he was welcomed into the pack.
"Role? What do you mean you want a role?" Fallow asked, puzzled.
"Well, I want to help out. What do you want me to do? I could be a pupsitter?"
"There is no way I'm trusting you to take care of our pups." Fallow growled.
"Okay then, a hunter, perhaps?" Jagged asked. He wanted to help with something.
"Our parties are full." Fallow responded coldly.
"A scout?"
"It's out of traditon for a pack to have more than two."
The traveler didn't dare ask if he could be an herbalist. He felt as if Fallow would bite his head off and he didn't have any experience. He guessed he could do with being roleless, it was like that when he traveled anyway.
A new puppy entered the pack and was given to Egg slurper to take care of. He and Jagged Spike looked after the puppy together. Egg slurper saw how much Jagged Spike enjoyed taking care of it and decided to train him as a pupsitter, without the knowledge of Fallow, of course. After he felt like he was ready, Jagged Spike started to take care of the puppy on his own.
"I think it's time for you to meet the most important members of our pack!" Egg slurper barked excitedly. It has been half a moon since Jagged Spike settled down in the pack.
The traveler nodded. He was excited to meet some new wolves.
"That's Fallow, the pack leader and my mother, but you've met her already." Egg pointed out the light brown she-wolf, who was too busy sunning herself to notice the two travelers.
"That over there is Goshawk. You've met her too, so you know that she is a lot more nicer than Fallow. She is our beta." He nodded to a brown and blue she-wolf who was busy assigning patrols."
"Now, you haven't met our herbalist yet. Her name is Hope and she's busy foraging. She should be back right about...now! There she is!" Egg nodded to a brown and gray she-wolf who was carrying some herbs Jagged couldn't identify.
"What is she like?" The traveler asked.
"Why don't you go and find out?" He barked, nudging Jagged Spike closer to the herbalist.
"Greetings, my name is Jagged Spike." He introduced himself politely.
"The new traveler, right?" Hope asked.
Jagged Spike nodded.
"Pleased to meet you, Jagged Spike. my name is Hope." The herbalist barked, after she was done sorting out the new herbs.
"Have you met the scouts yet? You share a den with them, after all."
The traveler shook his head. When they returned from exploring they were too tired and fell asleep immediately, and by the time Jagged woke up, they were out scouting again.
Hope nodded. "You should meet them. I believe they will be back soon."
"I hope to." Jagged responded.
"One of them is my father, Rasa. Though, if I were you, I'd avoid his scoutmate, Flumen. She's not very nice, especially if she's tired."
"How come?"
"That wolf is way too full of herself. Thank the stars she's retiring soon, no wolf can stand her complaining anymore. Though I already feel bad for the pups she'll be mentoring."
"Aaand here they come!" Egg slurper barked, pointing out two wolves who were heading into the camp. Fallow got up and turned to greet them. Jagged Spike assumed that they must be making their report. Then, the two wolves began to head towards the herbalist's den.
"My pads are cracked." A light gray, blueish looking wolf barked without a greeting. The traveler assumed that this must be Flumen. Not only because of her attitude, but because the other wolf looked a lot like Hope.
The herbalist nodded padded into the back of her den, presumably to look for the right herbs. A few seconds later she emerged and dropped a bundle before Flumen's paws. She began to chew it into a pulp and spat it out.
"Rub the poultice into the affected pads with your tongue." She instructed.
To Jagged's surprise, Flumen didn't object at having to do it herself and obeyed the herbalist. Perhaps she wasn't as bad as the traveler has imagined? Or maybe she just respected Hope enough not to disobey her.
The brown and black wolf, who Jagged assumed to be Rasa, licked his daughter's head, his gaze shining proudly. He whispered something into the young herbalist's ear, and she licked his cheek in response. The scout nodded to the travelers.
"Greetings. You're the new traveler, I assume?"
Jagged nodded.
"Pleased to meet you. I'm Rasa, and this is my scoutmate, Flumen."
"Pleased to meet you too." The traveler barked politely.
"Done." Flumen barked, getting back on her paws.
The she-wolf looked Jagged up and down, her expression unreadable. She looked as if she was about to say something, then bit the words back before they escaped her mouth. She nodded a greeting to him, then padded out of the den, flicking her tail for Rasa to follow. The younger scout dipped his head, and padded out of the den after her.
It has been a moon since Jagged Spike has settled down in Veritas, and he's been finding his place in the pack quite nicely. Most wolves have gotten used to having him around, even Fallow has stopped giving him unfriendly glares. He had a lot of fun training Wren, the puppy he was taking care of. He believed that the ambitious young wolf had a bright future ahead of him. Wren wanted to be the alpha of the pack one day. He had a long way to go, but Jagged Spike believed in him.
It has been a moon and a half since the traveler has settled down in Veritas. He's made some friends and enjoyed his time there, however, he decided that it was time for him to go. He wanted to keep traveling, explore, and see the world. Egg slurper was devastated to see him go, but understood. He insisted the young traveler take some sticks from his collection to remember him by. Jagged Spike said his goodbyes and headed out into the forest, looking for a new adventure.

Lore:An entire kingdom, how exciting! Jagged Spike had only visited small packs before then, but upon stumbling a new territory, the scent of many wolves wafted over him. Honestly, it was nearly overwhelming how many new scents there were.
He met a wolf that called himself Privanku. He consitered himself the unofficial ambassador, always guiding visitors to the city gates. The city was below ground, away from predators and rivals.
Hen spike parted with Privanku, the black and white wolf suggested visiting the graveyard before leaving. His blue eyes flickered for a moment before leaving him at the gate. That was... strange, to say the least. As he decended into the cavern, he was stunned to see how enormous it was. There had to be THOUSANDS of wolves here!
A black wolf approached him, his green eyes twinkled like stars and his white underbelly glistened. His name was Prince Jax, brother to the the Queen. Her coronation was being held today, and you just happened to sumble upon the at the right time. The last king, Opal, had recently passed away, and his eldest daughter, Moon was to take the crown.
And what a celebration it was, the howls of thousands of citizens filled the cave, a beautiful mass of sounds and singing as the beutiful blue princess was adorned with a crown of golden antlers.
After the celebration, Jax came back to Spike and gave him a golden crown of flowers to remember the occasion. As per custom, Jax was no longer a Prince and was now a Lord, since only the pups of the Monarch can be considered true royalty. He doesn't seem to mind the demotion and was just a kind as before.
Jagged Spike's days here were wonderful as he got to participate on Lord Jax's hunting party. He was treated not only a visitor, but as a citizen. Learning the rules was a bit difficult, but with Jax's help, nothing was impossible.
Spike was to full the role while one of Moon's sons, Prince Toledo, completed his trainer to be in the very spot Spike borrowed. It was an honor to meet the young Prince before he left. The Prince bestowed a hunter's badge to Spike, a high ranking within the kingdom. He was always welcome here.
On his way out, Spike decided to visit the graveyard, remebering Prinavku's suggestion on his first day visiting. There was the new grave of the late King, Opal. There were other monarchs, and even the first, King Fuoco. Each grave had a picture of the wolf, all wearing a golden crown of antlers. But, before Fuoco, there were no more monarchs, but tribal chieftains.
Jagged Spike followed the line of memorials down to the the very first. The chieftains all wore feathered headrests, all exept one. The first and oldest grave here. The spil was overgrown and a young oak tree grew from behind, the roots reaching out the ground.
Wait... this wolf's portrait seems farmiliar. Leaning in, Spike studied the picture. It was covered in lichen and was hard to see, but unmistakable blue eyes looked back at him. Startled, Jagged Spike clawed away the plants that covered the grave's name. No way... is that Priv-
A twig snapped, making Spike's fur stand on end. White flashed in the undergrowth behind him. He felt as if many diffrenr sets of eyes stared at his fur.
He had to leave here before he becomes the next to join the graveyard!

Lore: Jagged Spike crossed claimed territory, the borders were marked but havdn't been marked for a while, assuming the territory was abandond. Sniffing around Jagged Spike found some useful herbs. As he gathered them, he felt a small pair of eyes on his pelt. He made no attempt to look around, for that would alert his watcher. As he pawed the dirt he focused his ears on any sound that was made. Leaves crunched under his watchers paws and Jagged Spike turned around to find nothing. As he displayed a confused face a pup suddenly nipped his tail.
` `Gocha!` ` The pup squealed.
` `You didn't even see me coming! ha!` ` The pup wagged her tail as she played bow.
` ` Your good! ` ` Jagged Spike's confusion faded, and was replaced with amusment.
Jagged Spike wondered why a lone pup was here. Lone pups are and will always be an easy meal for larger predators.
` ` Who are you? ` ` The pup panted. Jagged Spike introduced himself and his role. The pup led him back to to packs camp. They welcomed the pup with a scolding for sneaking away and they welcomed Jagged spike with food and a place to stay for a few days.

"I couldn't come up with anything better." The leader rolled her eyes.
Egg slurper didn't seem to mind his mother's mean comment.
"Come on, I'll show you where you'll be staying!"
Egg slurper led him to a small cave.
"This is what we call the "Traveler's Rest"! The scouts and the travelers sleep here."
Jagged nodded.
"This is my nest. We can make yours riiiight there!" Egg slurper barked, pointing to a small space beside his own nest.
"Gosh, this wolf must be very lonely if he's this excited to see me.." Jagged Spike tought. He felt bad for Egg Slurper.
"C'mon! I'll show you my stick collection!" Egg barked gladly.
"So what role shall I take on?" Jagged Spike asked. It was the first day since the night he was welcomed into the pack.
"Role? What do you mean you want a role?" Fallow asked, puzzled.
"Well, I want to help out. What do you want me to do? I could be a pupsitter?"
"There is no way I'm trusting you to take care of our pups." Fallow growled.
"Okay then, a hunter, perhaps?" Jagged asked. He wanted to help with something.
"Our parties are full." Fallow responded coldly.
"A scout?"
"It's out of traditon for a pack to have more than two."
The traveler didn't dare ask if he could be an herbalist. He felt as if Fallow would bite his head off and he didn't have any experience. He guessed he could do with being roleless, it was like that when he traveled anyway.
A new puppy entered the pack and was given to Egg slurper to take care of. He and Jagged Spike looked after the puppy together. Egg slurper saw how much Jagged Spike enjoyed taking care of it and decided to train him as a pupsitter, without the knowledge of Fallow, of course. After he felt like he was ready, Jagged Spike started to take care of the puppy on his own.
"I think it's time for you to meet the most important members of our pack!" Egg slurper barked excitedly. It has been half a moon since Jagged Spike settled down in the pack.
The traveler nodded. He was excited to meet some new wolves.
"That's Fallow, the pack leader and my mother, but you've met her already." Egg pointed out the light brown she-wolf, who was too busy sunning herself to notice the two travelers.
"That over there is Goshawk. You've met her too, so you know that she is a lot more nicer than Fallow. She is our beta." He nodded to a brown and blue she-wolf who was busy assigning patrols."
"Now, you haven't met our herbalist yet. Her name is Hope and she's busy foraging. She should be back right about...now! There she is!" Egg nodded to a brown and gray she-wolf who was carrying some herbs Jagged couldn't identify.
"What is she like?" The traveler asked.
"Why don't you go and find out?" He barked, nudging Jagged Spike closer to the herbalist.
"Greetings, my name is Jagged Spike." He introduced himself politely.
"The new traveler, right?" Hope asked.
Jagged Spike nodded.
"Pleased to meet you, Jagged Spike. my name is Hope." The herbalist barked, after she was done sorting out the new herbs.
"Have you met the scouts yet? You share a den with them, after all."
The traveler shook his head. When they returned from exploring they were too tired and fell asleep immediately, and by the time Jagged woke up, they were out scouting again.
Hope nodded. "You should meet them. I believe they will be back soon."
"I hope to." Jagged responded.
"One of them is my father, Rasa. Though, if I were you, I'd avoid his scoutmate, Flumen. She's not very nice, especially if she's tired."
"How come?"
"That wolf is way too full of herself. Thank the stars she's retiring soon, no wolf can stand her complaining anymore. Though I already feel bad for the pups she'll be mentoring."
"Aaand here they come!" Egg slurper barked, pointing out two wolves who were heading into the camp. Fallow got up and turned to greet them. Jagged Spike assumed that they must be making their report. Then, the two wolves began to head towards the herbalist's den.
"My pads are cracked." A light gray, blueish looking wolf barked without a greeting. The traveler assumed that this must be Flumen. Not only because of her attitude, but because the other wolf looked a lot like Hope.
The herbalist nodded padded into the back of her den, presumably to look for the right herbs. A few seconds later she emerged and dropped a bundle before Flumen's paws. She began to chew it into a pulp and spat it out.
"Rub the poultice into the affected pads with your tongue." She instructed.
To Jagged's surprise, Flumen didn't object at having to do it herself and obeyed the herbalist. Perhaps she wasn't as bad as the traveler has imagined? Or maybe she just respected Hope enough not to disobey her.
The brown and black wolf, who Jagged assumed to be Rasa, licked his daughter's head, his gaze shining proudly. He whispered something into the young herbalist's ear, and she licked his cheek in response. The scout nodded to the travelers.
"Greetings. You're the new traveler, I assume?"
Jagged nodded.
"Pleased to meet you. I'm Rasa, and this is my scoutmate, Flumen."
"Pleased to meet you too." The traveler barked politely.
"Done." Flumen barked, getting back on her paws.
The she-wolf looked Jagged up and down, her expression unreadable. She looked as if she was about to say something, then bit the words back before they escaped her mouth. She nodded a greeting to him, then padded out of the den, flicking her tail for Rasa to follow. The younger scout dipped his head, and padded out of the den after her.
It has been a moon since Jagged Spike has settled down in Veritas, and he's been finding his place in the pack quite nicely. Most wolves have gotten used to having him around, even Fallow has stopped giving him unfriendly glares. He had a lot of fun training Wren, the puppy he was taking care of. He believed that the ambitious young wolf had a bright future ahead of him. Wren wanted to be the alpha of the pack one day. He had a long way to go, but Jagged Spike believed in him.
It has been a moon and a half since the traveler has settled down in Veritas. He's made some friends and enjoyed his time there, however, he decided that it was time for him to go. He wanted to keep traveling, explore, and see the world. Egg slurper was devastated to see him go, but understood. He insisted the young traveler take some sticks from his collection to remember him by. Jagged Spike said his goodbyes and headed out into the forest, looking for a new adventure.

He met a wolf that called himself Privanku. He consitered himself the unofficial ambassador, always guiding visitors to the city gates. The city was below ground, away from predators and rivals.
Hen spike parted with Privanku, the black and white wolf suggested visiting the graveyard before leaving. His blue eyes flickered for a moment before leaving him at the gate. That was... strange, to say the least. As he decended into the cavern, he was stunned to see how enormous it was. There had to be THOUSANDS of wolves here!
A black wolf approached him, his green eyes twinkled like stars and his white underbelly glistened. His name was Prince Jax, brother to the the Queen. Her coronation was being held today, and you just happened to sumble upon the at the right time. The last king, Opal, had recently passed away, and his eldest daughter, Moon was to take the crown.
And what a celebration it was, the howls of thousands of citizens filled the cave, a beautiful mass of sounds and singing as the beutiful blue princess was adorned with a crown of golden antlers.
After the celebration, Jax came back to Spike and gave him a golden crown of flowers to remember the occasion. As per custom, Jax was no longer a Prince and was now a Lord, since only the pups of the Monarch can be considered true royalty. He doesn't seem to mind the demotion and was just a kind as before.
Jagged Spike's days here were wonderful as he got to participate on Lord Jax's hunting party. He was treated not only a visitor, but as a citizen. Learning the rules was a bit difficult, but with Jax's help, nothing was impossible.
Spike was to full the role while one of Moon's sons, Prince Toledo, completed his trainer to be in the very spot Spike borrowed. It was an honor to meet the young Prince before he left. The Prince bestowed a hunter's badge to Spike, a high ranking within the kingdom. He was always welcome here.
On his way out, Spike decided to visit the graveyard, remebering Prinavku's suggestion on his first day visiting. There was the new grave of the late King, Opal. There were other monarchs, and even the first, King Fuoco. Each grave had a picture of the wolf, all wearing a golden crown of antlers. But, before Fuoco, there were no more monarchs, but tribal chieftains.
Jagged Spike followed the line of memorials down to the the very first. The chieftains all wore feathered headrests, all exept one. The first and oldest grave here. The spil was overgrown and a young oak tree grew from behind, the roots reaching out the ground.
Wait... this wolf's portrait seems farmiliar. Leaning in, Spike studied the picture. It was covered in lichen and was hard to see, but unmistakable blue eyes looked back at him. Startled, Jagged Spike clawed away the plants that covered the grave's name. No way... is that Priv-
A twig snapped, making Spike's fur stand on end. White flashed in the undergrowth behind him. He felt as if many diffrenr sets of eyes stared at his fur.
He had to leave here before he becomes the next to join the graveyard!

` `Gocha!` ` The pup squealed.
` `You didn't even see me coming! ha!` ` The pup wagged her tail as she played bow.
` ` Your good! ` ` Jagged Spike's confusion faded, and was replaced with amusment.
Jagged Spike wondered why a lone pup was here. Lone pups are and will always be an easy meal for larger predators.
` ` Who are you? ` ` The pup panted. Jagged Spike introduced himself and his role. The pup led him back to to packs camp. They welcomed the pup with a scolding for sneaking away and they welcomed Jagged spike with food and a place to stay for a few days.
