Lore: Redpaw was born to the Lunar Moon Wolves pack. He always wondered how big the world was, and what all was out there.

One day he was speaking with the new leader of the pack, Moonstar. Moonstar told him that he could go out and explore the world beyond the Lunar Moon territory.

Redpaw was excited about the idea of an adventure. He told everyone he knew about it. When he came to tell his mother, Hazelpelt, he hesitated. He knew she would miss him.

"Hazelpelt?" He spoke hesitantly as he approached the auburn and white colored she-wolf. "Yes?" Hazelpelt asked, looking up from the prey she was eating.

Redpaw sat down beside her and forced himself to go on. "Moonstar says I can leave Lunar Moon…She says I can go out and explore beyond our territory," Redpaw told her.

"I'm going to miss you," He told her, pressing his muzzle into his mother's fur. "I'll miss you too, my son," Hazelpelt told him, her voice cracking slightly as she spoke.

Redpaw could tell that she would miss him. A few days later Redpaw set out on his journey, he was going to explore beyond Lunar Moon and he couldn't wait.
