"My brother and I were young when we left our old pack. It feels as if we've only known this place as home." She traces the movement of the clouds, her eyes darting and refocusing as each cloud moves out of her line of vision. Without losing her concentration, she speaks. "I do miss my pups, especially since I haven't seen them since they were so little. I'm sure they've grown to be fine, strong, adults now, though. They probably wouldn't want to see their old, sentimental mother now. But one can dream, can't they?"
