This young heir is one of three children born to Oya and Ogun that wasn't stillborn, the other two rejected by Oya for unspoken instinctive reasons not fully understood or appreciated by Ogun. Thankfully, Akogun has no lack of lavishment thrust upon him from his parents, who both seem to appreciate having at least one bundle of joy in their life.
Akogun hasn't seemed to take after either the discipline of his father nor the drive of his mother, instead spending much of his time daydreaming or figuring out ways to make the Ruins look nicer.
