Aurora was always far more adventurous then her quiet sibling Barbatos. While the two were inseperable as pups and loved to learn, she was far more outgoing then him. Both were smart and gifted like their mother, she found herself wanting to explore the world. The day she became an adolescent she hugged her mom Oracle, dad Celeste, and brother Barbatos goodbye before turning to her pack and bowing to her Alpha. She then ran off to start her journey...

Lore: Her first stop was a bit rough. They didn't do much at the pack and was a bit disheartened. She left early due to this, feeling discouraged. She wondered the woods half wondering if she should give up this idea of traveling and go home. Her pack would accept her back with open paws but she was determined to try again. On she went to search for the next pack.

Lore: Aroura had found her next pack. Joy filled her as she was ready to try again. Unfortunately this was a far bigger pack than her own and so it was here she learned the true harshness of winter. She didn't always have food or comfort. It was far different from her small pack at home. She offered to help but with so many wolves around she was drowned out and set aside to simply observe. This was certainly a rough second pack and things were not going as well as she hoped on her journey.

Lore:The trees were tall and the foliage was green, but Aurora was struggling to see in the heavy rain. How much further till she found shelter? Eventually, she found a small cave and sat down in it, but she wasn't alone. Behind her was a pretty white she-wolf with moon-like root garments.
"Your not from our pack, aren't you?" The she-wolf tilted her head.
"I just seek shelter from the rain, I'll move on after," Aurora lowered her muzzle.
"No need," The wolf wagged her tail slowly. "My name is Essence. You can stay at our pack for a bit. I take it your a traveller?"
"Essence, thank you," Aurora dipped her head. "I'm Aurora. Yes, I'm a traveller."
"Perfect. We have room for you then. When the rain clears, I'll take you back."
Gradually, the rain softened and the two wolves crossed the forest to a large clearing where the pack sheltered. Aurora was welcomed, and she even met a few other travellers who were temporarily staying here. She offered to be a scout to repay the pack for letting her stay, as she had some experience in that work-force. Burn was also a scout, and he taught her some more tips for future reference.
Something interesting was that Burn called himself a moon-touched pup, something that had to do with the packs culture. Aurora also met a wolf called Alkaline and they hung out for ages, till Aurora realised she was expecting his puppies. She stayed in the pack to have them, and once they were weaned, she left. She was gifted with a mushroom crown before leaving to remember the pack, then Aurora set off to see where her paws would take her next.

Lore: Aurora joined the Pride Pups and learned that a crowded den was ...a little overwhelming, honestly, but made a lot of friends. She flitted around, lending a helping paw wherever she could, as there was ALWAYS something to be done. She became known as "Auntie Aurora" by the puppies who loved staring into her eyes while listening to tales of other packs. She developed a certain wanderlust among many of them, and by the time she parted, the next generation looked forward to teaming up with more wolves and exploring beyond their territories peacefully.

Lore: Lore After a disorientating roundabout in harsh rain with a cruel hunting team in the Mountains, Aurora convinced them to let her at least talk to the leader of their pack - the Order awaited her with cautious eyes as she was called upon the bonfire. The smell of ash and charcoal invaded her nose as the alpha, a bone skinny, gruffy, mossy looking wolf with flaming yellow eyes greeted her.

"I have heard you have been found in the surroundings of our territory. I thought the big cloud of smoke up there would have scared anyone, but not you, apparently," the wolf grunted. "My hunters are skilled and merciless, and the fact you managed to convince them not to harm you is a surprise. I can't even convince them to not fight their own party members, sometimes," Aurora looks back and sees two of the hunters have been fighting over a small chunk of meat for a long time.

"I've had some... experience dealing with this, I suppose," Aurora laughs softly. But please, do not worry. I do not mean harm. I was just looking for shelter from the rain, you see. My fur takes hours to dry and I hate feeling soaked. Please, tell your hunters to let me go," one of the hunter wolves looked at Aurora with indignation, huffing at such remark, "and I will be out as quick as that flame gets higher."

"Oh, I know you don't mean any harm. No one does, really. We just like keeping everyone on their toes, so our wolves can learn to respond appropriately to when someone actually does. SOME of us have been taking it a bit too far recently," the alpha snarls at the hunting team in disapproval, to which they lower their heads in shame. "We apologize for the inconvenience. It seems the storm won't be stopping for at least a few more moons. You are free to stay by the fire and eat if you'd like to wait until then."

Aurora considered her options. The flame was unlike anything she'd seen before, and it emitted a warm glow of positive energy that she could definitely get used to for a few days. The rain was cold and she didn't want her fur to smell like wet dirt for when she went on her next adventure...
"I'll consider it, if the storm really doesn't stop for the next few hours," Aurora said. "Thanks for the offer. My name's Aurora. I'm a traveler."

"Call me Ashen. The pack will be thrilled to see we have a visitor for the night," Ashen approached slowly and touched noses with her, as a sign of respect and a mutual truce. "Connlaodh will actually be relieved. He's always been telling me we needed new faces around, that he was tired of talking to the same five old wolves. I told him he always has me and the girls to talk to, but he just huffed and went away. I can't understand him sometimes, you know? He's just so stubborn, and..." the wolf besides her rambled passionately for a few minutes, about who Aurora assumed was his mate by the way his eyes glowed with the fire.
After the initial shock, Aurora had a great time in the pack! She didn't have much to do as all the roles were filled, but the rest of the wolves were indeed thrilled by a new visitor, and made sure to provide her with whatever she needs. She also met her lookalike, who was part of that weird hunting team, and although she wasn't really friendly, it was such a new, exciting experience, to meet someone who's so like you! After five days, however, the storm died down, and it was time for a new adventure. Before leaving, the wolves of the pack all reunited to give her a shiny stone as a gift - she didn't understand it at the time, until one of the wolves took a paw, touched the shiny stone and smeared it in her eye.
"It doesn't do much. But it makes for cool makeup!" she winked.

Aurora had been wandering the mountain sides for a week since she left the previous pack, but she knew she was coming closer to another pack because she could smell the wolves. Out of no where, there appeared a wolf with blue flames that seemed to grow out of her fur. She introduced herself as Calisee and invited Aurora to stay a while with her pack. Aurora settled in with Grymm Pack and got used to the way of life there. It seemed almost as if the Pack was a rag tag family pieced together. Calisee took extra care where most other Alpha's would not have, and Aurora eventually found out that it was because the majority of the members of Grymm Pack were kicked out of their previous packs and left in the wilderness to fend for themselves. Aurora had a whole new level of respect for Calisee after that. She also started taking greater care of how she reacted to every one and everything around her. After staying a while with Calisee and the Grymm Pack, Aurora realized that even though things might be broken, it doesn't mean that they're unfixable. Sometimes just a little extra care is enough to put what seemed to be broken back together.

Lore: SpoilerOpening her eyes, the golden light of dawn welcomed her. The scents of the kingdom were becoming familiar to her. She could not memorize over a thousand wolf's scents, but she managed to befriend a few.

She still couldn't fathom that today was her last day here. Many tearful goodbyes were made. Like all travelers from other packs, she had been given a villager rank and badge, making her an honorary member of the empire. She will treasure it.

Attending festivals, visiting the marketplace, participating in music and dance, and even watching hunters speed across the tundra at incredible speeds. The empire was like clockwork, with each wolf representing a gear in a machine.

Her mind winds back to the moment she first stepped paw here. With the help of a black and white wolf, she found her way to the underground city. His starry blue eyes will remain in her mind forever. Something felt strange about that wolf. She couldn't remember his name, didn't it start with a P and end with a U?

She had visited the graveyard before leaving for good. The ancient graves of past monarchs stood regally in the light of early morning. She almost felt surrounded by invisible wolves, all brushing pelts with her own. It was a serene and peaceful atmosphere.

She will miss this place.

Lore: Nothing too eventful or noteworthy happened at this pack but Aroura did enjoy her time here with the wolves.

Though she returned early, Aroura was a bit relived. She missed her pack and her family. Upon returning she smiled and teared up a bit. Her pack had grown so much since she left almost 4 and a half years ago. There were so many wolves she didnt know and would have to meet. Immidietly she greated her mother and father who nuzzled her happily. They were relived to see she had returned safely and she looked so much more mature and different since she left.

After meeting with her parents she went to find her brother Barbatos. The two wolves rekindled their bond as siblings and nuzzled eachother happy to elsee one another. That evening Aurora spent the meal telling her pack about her travels and sharing her stories. She also got to meet many of the new wolves that had become members while she left. It was truely nice to finally be home and adorned with so many gifts from her journy as well.

Barbatos offered the special den he made for himself as a place for Aurora to stay. She smiled happily accepting the offer to join his brother and his mate in the den to spend the rest of her time in the pack with them. As she grew older she found herself enjoying telling her stories to the young pups of the pack and resting with her family who were now retired from their duties and living out their old age peacefully.
