Over the course of some weeks, Calisee roamed the land around the cave that she claimed. Foraging, gathering, hunting, and just looking for other wolves that may need a pack to join. She came across a wolf, who she thought was a fox at first, because of his coat. After talking for a while Calisee learned his name, Cavimir, and that he was looking for a new place to stay because his pack didn't want him because of how much he resembled a fox, the sworn enemy of his family. Calisee took him in and they called themselves the Grymm Pack, due to the fact that they were both kicked out of their home packs.

After Calisee met Cavimir, they both started going out together. Foraging, gathering hunting, and making sure to keep a watchful eye out for any wolves who may be in need. They met a wolf, foraging in the woods and started talking to him. They found out his name is Onyx and he agreed to join their pack. He became the pack's herbalist. They came across a pair of sisters, Glimmer and Karma, who were still little pups that had been left in the wilderness to die. A few hours after that, while they were teaching Glimmer and Karma how to forage, they came across another young pup named Lux who immediately took a liking to Glimmer. They took in Glimmer, Karma and Lux and raised them in the pack and trained Glimmer to be the Beta for Grymm Pack. Karma took on the role of pup sitter, because she knew what it was like to be left in the wilds as a pup and she didn't want any other pups to feel like that. And Lux took on the role of Hunter because he knew Cavimir would need help, and wanted to make sure that his new "father" was proud of him.

The next day, Calisee stayed at the cave with the pups while Cav and Onyx went out foraging and hunting. After a successful day of hard work, Cav and Onyx stumbled across a pair of pups, who'd been left out in the blazing sun. They took them back to the cave where Onyx mixed up medicines for each of them and Calisee formed a motherly bond with them, the same way she had with Glimmer, Karma and Lux. Neither of the pups were quite old enough to talk yet so Calisee called one of them Aurora and the other Janelle. They healed completely and got much better over the next week.

Calisee stayed at the cave to watch over all of the pups and Onyx stayed with her to keep an eye on Aurora and Janelle, just in case they got sick again. Cav went out to hunt and, while he was hunting, he came across another wolf hunting. Eventually, Cav crossed paths with the other wolf and, at first, they started fighting each other, but once they realized there wasn't another wolf coming, they backed off. The other wolf started the conversation, but after a while of talking Cav realized that Popstroke, for that was the name of the other wolf, didn't have a home pack and had been a rogue for a while now. So Cav offered to let Popstroke join Grymm Pack and Popstroke took on another hunter role.
