Echeveria had taken a break and decided to go on a stroll, and you had decided to tag along as well. The swamp was thick and marshy, and you were trying to decide whether you liked it or not. Echeveria didn't seem too fond of it herself, as she swat away pesky little gnats.
"You know, as much water as there is here, sometimes I miss the desert." She stated with a chuckle, then snapped at a bug that flew by.
A rustling in the reeds caught your attention, although Echeveria seemed oblivious to it. You notice a patch of rusty-colored fur weaving it's way through the plants, and you decided to grab it.
Quickly pulling the creature from the reeds, you noticed it was a pup. She was covered in mud from her legs down, and she began to squirm.
"Uh, hi…" She said with a nervous grin. Echeveria noticed the pup and huffed.
"You're not supposed to be out this far, Anita." She scolded. Anita's ears flopped and her tail fell.
"I'm sorry Ms. Echeveria. But I wanted to see the visitor!" Anita stated with a hint of disappointment in her voice.
Echeveria gave the pup a sympathetic smile, and turned to you. "Well, since she's out here anyways why don't you finish the stroll with Anita?"
The pup's eyes brightened, and she looked at you expectantly.
