First Daughter of Valkryie, born from an exotic traveller.

She is the only one of her siblings explicitly allowed to stay with her esteemed wanderer mother. Her ditzy brother is being considered, but she feels that he will not be allowed to stay.

The pack values new blood, exotic genes and rare mutations. This is taught to every pup and new member. She knows that her rare stone-like coat gives her the opportunity to stay. Her brothers do not have the advantage of being female, and are not as valued as her. The clan will likely drop them off at the great bear.

She had seen several of those in the Transit Bay cave taken to the bear.

She also knows that should she remain, she will likely not take a mate. All females have an obligation to the pack, to bring in fresh blood. She accepts this, as it is fair to both her and the pack. She stays, and so must contribute. She doesn't have to like it though.

Like all pups, she once dreamed of her perfect mate. To be told that they likely don't exist, is saddening to hear.

She has seen her sire only once before. The First Leader has a habit of bringing back the travelling males to look at their offspring. It was a good chance for the pups to know who their other parent was. He was massive, white patches and sharp gleaming teeth. She now knows that none of her siblings managed to inherit the prized white patches that both her sire and the Leader's firstborn have.
