The Foreseer

The Foreseer:
After a long labour, the mother wolf delivered her pups. It was not an easy night and the Herbalist had been along her side the entire time. It did not come as a surprise for the medic most of the litter was stillborn, however this did not change the pain of the she-wolf, at first sniffing, then licking almost obsessively her offspring. Suddenly a small yelp similar to a babies wail resonated in the cave.

The first few moons the mother kept her only pup close at all times, the little one never crawled far either way, his eyes sealed shut somewhat longer than what most pups would.
One day, it was obvious something was not right, his eyes were wide open pale and still, seemingly not acknowledging the curiosity and apprehension they may have caused in the rest of the pack gathered around the den.

He was never to be a skilled hunter or scout as his movements were slow and limited, and what little he got around was thanks to Crow; however, as he aged, his abilities did not go unnoticed. His visions became more frequent and the wolves strongly relied on them for scouting, hunting and foraging. The Leader kept him close as well asking his advice on future alliances, food shortages, or natural hazards that could hinder the pack's survival, for that they named him "Foreseer".
