Lore Entry: Lore Niko's journeys somehow had brought him to the edge of the Kohana Pack's territory. Trudging through the swampy marsh, he huffed, growing annoyed with the difficulty of the difficult terrain. Hearing a peculiar metal jingle, Niko raised his head, his icy blue eyes scanning the reeds.

A peculiar she-wolf emerged from the plants. She had only one ear erect, as the other was floppy. Her head was wrapped in a sort of gold jewelry, which jingled as she shook them from her eyes. She was somewhat small, but she moved quickly with great agility.

"I knew I had seen someone!" She stated proudly, before setting her orange eyes on Niko. "Say, are you a traveler?"

"I am." He replied with a small smile. "I'm Niko! I apologize if I am trespassing. I hadn't expected any wolves to live in a swamp; much less one so close to the coast."

"No need to apologize. We welcome those with open paws." She nodded towards the reeds, another jingle piercing the air. "Come, I'll show you to our pack grounds."

And so Niko did. He was surprised by the sheer number of wolves— there had to be at least twenty— living in the swamp. They were led by a young she-wolf named Delayne, who was seemed constantly to chat.

During his visit, Niko would often try and help where he could. This included going on hunts with one of the two hunting teams, the Bloodtrail Beserkers. He was initially going to hunt with Kitiara's Blade, but found many of them to be very rude or terse.

He became good friends with one of BB's members, a wolf by the name of Ketchikan. He could run fast and with great agility, and he didn't seem to be hindered by the difficult terrain. Niko found him to be quite amiable, as Ketchikan was always willing to wait on the slower wolf or lend some words of encouragement.

Niko often hung out with Ketchikan, who eagerly talked about birds. At first, he had been very confused. Why was he so obsessed with birds? But he seemed to have some sort of connection with them; two little jays constantly followed him around, and he shared the food with them. Niko and Ketchikan often went bird watching, where his companion would tell him about the kind of bird and the beauty of their feathers.

When it came time for him to leave, Niko found it quite difficult. The wolves and wolf-dogs had been kind to him. But he found himself missing Ketchikan the most, and he wanted to find him to tell him goodbye.

When he found Ketchikan, the caramel colored wolf was weaving two tawny feathers together. He looked up with a sad smile.

"I'm going to miss you Niko, you've been a great friend to me." He stated with a sad sigh. "I wanted to make you something before you left though."

He pushed the grouse feathers towards Niko, and he couldn't suppress a sad smile. He slipped them on, tears filling his eyes.

"You're like a brother to me Ketchikan, please don't forget me." Niko choked out. Ketchikan smiled, and nodded with vigor.

"I promise I won't. Please come visit again, okay?"

"I will!" Niko cried out. Ketchikan looked as if he was going to speak, but Otter called him, informing him it was time to hunt.

"Goodbye, Niko. Stay safe!" Ketchikan said with a final wag of his tail, before sprinting off like a flash of brown lightning.

Niko felt a crushing loneliness that night, but smiled as he felt the feathers behind his ears. He was grateful he had made such a good friend, and now he could make more.

Lore Entry: Niko continued on with his journey after taking a quick stop at his home pack. he headed north to a colder climate and stumbled upon a clearing. He found it quite odd that an angel oak would be in a coniferous forest. The ground would've not been able to support this tree. He then realized he stumbled into a pack's resting grounds. Some did not seem to be please about him being in their territory while others wagged their tails and curiously tilted their heads. After getting to know everyone they seem to be much more friendly, and as him to join them on a hunt!

Day 1: Entering the pack of The Forsaken Eyes, he glanced around for their pack leader.

"Oh! You must be Niko! Your former pack leader told me so much about you! Ima have you start on being a hunter!" Wow.. that was quick.

He didn't complain… hunting didn't seem TOO bad. He was put to work immediately.

Day 1: Hey look at that! He was getting the hang of this hunting job! His first hunt with the pack and he caught something in minutes! The pack also seems to get use to him easily.
Day 2: Ever since arrival, Niko has been doing great! He's really warming up to this clan. He hunts quite often and has never failed to do the trick!

"May I go with u, Mr. Niko?" Coda yelped playfully.

"Ur leader wouldn't like that.. but in no time u will be hunting!"
Day 3: Though Niko has been struggling a bit to hunt, the pack doesn't seem to ridicule him. Instead, they offer him already caught food and be kind to him. What a sweet clan.
Day 4: Today is the day he leaves… He says his goodbye and gives cuddles and lickens to everyone.

Lore Entry: Niko had been wandering around territories for months now, it was a very warm day as it was Summer, He was in the edge of passing out until a friendly looking Wolf approached him with his hunting party, so after they gave him some food and water they took Niko back to their Pack where he met the Alpha and her pack. Niko had been very friendly towards the new pups of this pack and helping to nurse them. Afterwards, (10-20 days in pack) Niko felt as if he should head off now despite how caring this Pack were, so he had carefully entered the den of Yuki, explaining to her that he'll be leaving now and she had accepted that he were now leaving to another Pack.
