For as long as Aspen remembered, she had always been alone. She travelled the lands as she pleased- sometimes chased, sometimes welcomed into new packs. None ever stuck.
At long last, after a hard winter, she arrived at an abandoned territory, empty of markings of wolves. The deciduous forest reminded her of home, whatever place that meant, so she decided to settle down.
As a sociable wolf, next thing she set her sights to after building a perfect shelter, the Forest Cave, was a companion. Luckily, she soon found Ghost, after which her pack quickly grew until the cave was filled with wolves. Together, they decided to name the family Tapeesa Pack, meaning the tribe of flowers of the arctic . Aspen also managed to fulfil her biggest dream- becoming a mother. Her first two puppies, Goldenrod and Stone, were born once the pack was established with two other wolves.
