Einar
There was no doubt that from a young age, Einar was very much aware that he was nothing less than a prince of a wolf, born of the Alpha and eager for the chance to enjoy all the benefits of his rank. He was never meant to take over his mother's title but in deferring power to his niece Suna, he was left with all the time in the world to relish in his leisure. While his sister paid more attention to their pupsitter's lessons, Einar was easily distracted by wonderful weather and the invitations to play from the other pups.
As an adolescent, Einar was confronted by his mother for his far-too-lax attitude and the selfishness she had noticed creeping in about him. He boasted of his rank to his packmates when he could, with snout and tail high in the air and a smug grin plastered onto his maw. "This is not the Way of the Raven," she sighed, "and I'll not have you tarnish our name. You may never be Alpha, but if you're so eager to boast of your title as my son, you'll need to learn what it means to be a leader."
And with that, Einar was left to the teaching of the pack's lead scout, Aspen. An experienced scout, Aspen poured all her knowledge into the young male and forced him into the most rigorous of training in the harshest of environments. Einar protested, grumbled and moped but by the end of the year had blossomed into a well disciplined young wolf who could only look upon his past self with utter distaste.
Now grown, Einar continues to accompany Aspen into the woods and beyond to scout for the benefit of the pack. He is mated with Aspen's daughter Lunare.
