Neige, the Competitive

No big commotion in the crowd seems to be caused by you as you approach the biggest group. Almost every wolf seems occupied in their own conversations with another wolf or more. You don't mind the break from attention.
Each group has one wolf seeming to be selected to represent it, and these three wolves sit closest to the pile of food, undistracted in conversing and looking at attention. Behind them, their groups fan out behind them in a triangle shape. Two wolves behind their representative, then three behind the two, then four behind the three...etc.
The representative wolf you approach looks exactly like Anhura, and you can see his eyes flicker your way before you reach him.
"Hi Neige," Mela sounds a bit more serious than you have ever heard her thus far. She bows to him before continuing, "This is Y/N, a visitor. Sorem was the one to invite him to be given a tour of camp and such. Has Sorem arrived?"
"Yes," Neige responds, his eyes shifting from Mela, to you, and then briefly on Anhura before moving to Mela again. "I'll take Y/N to the base and Sorem will take him to the ledge. You two can take your places." Mela and Anhura nod, and then each wish you well with reassuring smiles, saying you'll have to join them again after eating. You don't quite understand what they mean, but you agree anyways.
Niege then gets up on his paws, suddenly shooting Anhura an odd, jealous look. You notice it even if he wipes it away quickly. Weird.
"Come," He says stiffly, and you follow the albino male to the base of the cliffside. More wolves have noticed you, but your mind is more occupied by Neige's next words, "Neige is what I'm named. I'm lead Finisher," He says a bit awkwardly. Just then Sorem appears, seeming to have snaked down the side of the cliff.
"Y/N! Decided to join us for mealtime?" The herbalist smiles, his presence breaking the odd atmosphere Neige brought. Sorem then turns to him, "Thank you for escorting him, Neige. You're welcome to go refill your position." The albino doesn't hesitate, and he trots away quickly. Sorem seems to notice you watching him go, and he comments, "Don't worry to much about him. He's been slightly off as of recent because of, um...some drama with his mate," He says carefully, and then shrugs.
The herbalist then turns towards a path that you notice is etched into the side of the cliff.
"Ready?"
