Kuura

Kuura (Finnish for "Frost") is Kulta's daughter, one of the two puppies of omen with her brother Perho. They were born with blue markings unlike anything previously seen in the pack. Vaara recognised them as similar to the Dreamlanders' markings. Thus they were taken to mean some great destiny.

Kuura showed great wit early on, and Kajo took her to sort herbs already in puppyhood. Upon becoming an adolescent, she became the healer apprentice. Her warm and bright amber eyes seem to see into the heart of any problem immediately, and Kajo has started wondering if there is something supernatural to them.

She trained dutifully under Kajo, and took her herbalist role at the time of great need: terrifying supernatural creatures had begun to appear in the world. She had to gear up and help wolves infected with bites and blood rain and other otherworldly things. During the full moon in this month of terror she became interested in the moon creatures that appeared in the forest at night and befriended a few of them on her herb gathering trips. She received advice and rumors from them, help on how to deal with the creatures of the Pyre. She then told everything onward to her siblings who set out in the forest to right what was wrong.

Kuura isn't interested in romance.
