A few months after he was born to his lone mother she went out to hunt, and never came back. He was the only of his siblings to survive. He travelled his whole young life, until finding the Spur pack in the desert. He realized quickly though, that settling down wasn't for him. He needed adventure, so he set out on his way again, planning to return when he had seen the world, or at least more of it.

Lore: Doeichi decided to explore the mountains. While up there, he found a pack that called themselves Freezing Lake. This pack was much different from most packs, running on a democracy. The young wolf was welcome to stay for as long as he'd like. He trained in many different roles, as every adolescent did. When trying to catch a squirrel, he ran head-first into a tree, knocking out some of the acorns from one of the holes. One of the hunters, Clover gave him one of her blue jay feathers as a "you tried, good job."

Lore: After spending some time with Brutus, a rather young pack leader, he was given a butterfly as a welcome gift. Turns out the leader is an avid collector of bugs and critters alike, both dead and alive. Doeichi was allowed to do as he pleased since in Brutus' words "You're our guest! Your family for as long as you're around". Doeichi had little conflicts with anyone, save for Nocan and Nochenuena, but that was mostly due to their dislike for perceived "outsiders". The pups followed him everywherez excited to meet a new wolf, and asked question after question about his origins, who he was and the like. Soon Doeichi would leave, as he alresdy had a pack he was loyal to, but not without a parting gift from Brutus; the Phantom hounds belief is that no wolf should leave the pack without a snack for the road.
