"Hi!"
You turn your head, hearing a very excited slightly high-pitched bark behind you. You see an adolescent wolf standing there beside a big oak tree: you could have sworn there wasn't anyone just a second ago, but there they are!

A young wolf slides forward, their paws stepping lightly, not giving a slightest rustle to the grass and crunching leaves under them.

Are they that lightweight, you wonder, but forget about the thought soon after because this grown-up cub stumbles just near you and lands on their belly smooshing their face in dirt right in front of your paws. Their funny ruffled mohawk of brownish fur bounces eagerly and the cub groans, huffing and trying to blow it off their striking, somehow glowing-looking eyes.

You chuckle slightly, observing your new aquaintance more attentively: nimble but a bit awkward body of an adolescent pup, big paws and all. Pretty unusual hide, speckled with browns, red, gingers... blues? A strange feathered necklace on their neck together with some dried-boned animal jaw looks very... Hm... Bizarre. As well, as a pup in general.

"Sorry! Sorry!", pup jumps up almost bouncing on all four legs, "I have a question for you! Do you have a pack? You do? Great! Is your pack looking for a... helper? I can do anything! Well, not specifically anything... I'm not trained or anythingmymumalwayssaidimnotgoodatscoutingorhuntingorpupsittingandthatimawalkingdisasterbut!.."

You blink trying to understand at least one word of what pup is saying. No success.

"...well, I'm on my own now! Whatever you need, I can be of help! I am very, VERY capable! So..?"

Pup stares at you, wagging their tail excitedly.

You clear your throat trying not to burst out laughing and ask their name.

Young wolf suddenly seems... sad. They squirm a little and sighs, "You can call me whatever name is convenient. Not that I had an official naming ceremony or anything... My mum...!"

Pup starts buzzing and bragging once more and you roll your eyes. Well, at least they don't seem bad and your pack could use some help anyway.
