Born on the 31st of October, Whisper was bound to be strange. She was always the quietest of the litter, and preferred to distance herself from other wolves. She was often found muttering in her sleep, and even from early on other wolves started avoiding her as well, seeing her as "weird". Sometimes, the wolf would also have visions of a strange, dreamy place full of blue and purple lights. She tried to explain them, once, yet it came to no surprise when no one believed her. Growing up, Whisper never had much to do. The other wolves were preoccupied training the newest hunters, and the scouts were almost never around at all. She grew used to it, though. The constant isolation allowed for more freedom, to which Whisper took well.
One night, however, she stumbled into an unfamiliar, yet also at the same time familiar, place. It was dark and eerie, but also beautiful with its lights of purple and blue. It was a strange feeling, to Whisper, but here in this eerie place she felt more at home than she'd ever felt in her pack. The overwhelming sense of disappointment she felt when she woke up in her nest was immeasurable. The thought of the whole thing being just a dream or another vision briefly crossed her mind, but the wolf dismissed it. It was way too vivid, and the strong sense of belonging she felt couldn't be fake. That same night, she snuck out of camp and headed away, determined to find the only place that she could ever call home.

Lore: Whisper found herself in the middle of a large deciduous forest. The sun was setting and somehow the air in the forest felt immensely more familiar to her than anyplace else she'd ever visited. A light blue mist filled the ground under the trees and she looked around, very curious. Something was glowing in the distance and she walked toward the glow, wondering what it was. The figures resolved themselves to be big blue butterflies hovering peacefully amidst the mist. Whisper was delighted by their ethereal glow and danced with them, her tail wagging happily.
Another wolf's paw steps snapped her out of her thoughts and she looked up to see a lean male approach. He had an earthen russet coat and introduced himself as Inai 印愛, saying Whisper could come and stay in the forest with the Starshade Pack as a traveler.
Whisper happily accepted and learned of the lunar energy that permeates these woods. That explained why she felt so at home. Lunar creatures wandered into the woods, led on by the energy that matches their world. The lunar butterflies were an example of that. Inai 印愛 Had a very soft glow on his pelt from being exposed to the lunar energy for so long.
Whisper loved the Starshade Pack! The den was in the densest part of the forest where the leaves shaded them from even starlight. The glow from the mist and the wolves kept it bright, however. She loved looking after some of the pack's pups, sure, but she loved getting to see the lunar creatures more. She wishes she didn't have to go, but Whisper knew she wanted to keep exploring more of the world, learning more about her lunar ties as she did.

Lore: When Whisper reached the Beholder Tower grounds, it was already dark. She was discovered by a scout patrol patrolling the area. Despite the fact that initially the wolves of the Beholder pack seemed unfriendly and even hostile to her, the leaders of the pack received her very cordially. A strange, slightly crazy half-blind wolf (I think his name was Void?) was very interested in her mutation. After his approval, others began to treat her neutrally. But they continued to follow her wherever she went. We just watched. It was uncomfortable. It seemed that these wolves... weren't really wolves. The Void did not cause this feeling, but because he was insane, his company was not more pleasant than the others. Whisper was glad to leave this pack.
