Blackbird

When Obsidian was thrown out of his pack in a trade, he was scared. Terrified. The wolf that had bought him had yellow, cold eyes, and white markings on his face that, when you looked at him in just the right way, resembled a wolf skull. Obsidian tried running, failing and being led back to their territory. Anubis, the wolf, said nothing, until they got back to the den. His lover, Soot, touched noses with him, bringing forth a smile as their two pups bounded out, greeting Obsidian eagerly.

Obsidian later found out Anubis had saved him from the trade center, and, when Anubis was kind enough to bestow a new name unto him, he chose Blackbird, as it had guided him through his life.
