While Meara was looking for her first stop, she met a traveler in the deciduous forest. The traveler told her that Dreaming Suncatchers was a great den for travelers to visit. Meara was interested, and the traveler gave her directions to the den. When she arrived, a party of hunters was just about to go hunting. Meara told them that she was a traveler. Clover asked a nearby adolescent to accompany Meara to the travelers' cave while she waited for Allen. After Allen came back from exploring, they both talked for a while, and Meara was asked to be a pupsitter. She agreed, and sometimes she will also be mentoring pups. After 6 months, she left the pack to continue her journey.
