Pitaya wasn't born into the Ghost pack, he was born somewhere else. When he joined a wolf named Saber bullied him relentlessly all because he was different from the rest. Speck, a handsome wolf took a liking to young Pitaya.
He'd teach the young pup how to hunt and track scents, he'd also defend him from Saber. "Leave him alone, he's only a pup Saber." he barked. "Why do you care? He isn't even a true pack wolf! He doesn't belong here, we should send him back where he belongs." Saber lunged at Speck and they got into another fight. Protecting the young pup came at a cost, Speck would often be covered in wounds.
The bullying never stopped, just got worse. Saber would steal Pitaya's prey, nip at him and bother him constantly. Pitaya was laying outside the den eating a rabbit, being watched by Speck. Saber walked up and quickly snatched the young wolf's prey from his paws. "How about you let the pack Wolves eat first?"
Speck instantly jumped to and smacked Saber. "He's a pack wolf too." he growled and snatched the rabbit, giving it to Pitaya. Saber rolled his eyes and walked away.
