- Gray grows up close to his siblings, Midnight and Laurie, and they all grow up to join their parent's hunting party, Lil Caramel's Backup.

- Gray notices Birch is starting to socialize a bit more with wolves outside of her friend group, all of them male, so he starts to wonder if she's looking to take on a mate. He decides to shoot his shot, and while he doesn't exactly hit it off with her, he's the one she's gotten along with best.

- After socializing a bit more with Birch, Gray comes up with the idea of creating a family crest or symbol, since he has such a tight-knit family that even have a hunting party together.
