The original founder of the Moonfall Pack. Artemis has been a strong leader for many seasons, and she will continue to lead for many more. While her pack has had struggles to survive through many different situations, she has stayed strong throughout it all.
Pack rules indicate that she can only choose her successor by evaluating each of her pups and seeing who is the most fit. From her second litter, her only in that litter seemed to have the strongest potential. She believes in him wholeheartedly, and since choosing him, has set forth many tasks to hopefully get him prepared to rule.
She has had one other litter since the litter that has held the next ruler, and she has been a devoted mother to each of those pups. However, while rearranging the pup sitting duties, her youngest son wandered off. That night while searching for him, the howls of delight from coyotes nearby made Artemis' heart sink with worry. She and her pack raced to the scene, but it was too late for her son. Since then, she has been dedicated to honoring his memory and making sure that no pup would ever be lost like that again. Though her eldest son has tried his best to comfort her, it will take time before she is not only ready for more pups, but to let the other two of the litter out of her sight.
