While Mossmaw is capable of hunting when necessary, he approaches the task with a certain reluctance. He much prefers to let others take the lead when it comes to the pursuit of prey, content to hang back and conserve his energy for more leisurely pursuits. He is more than happy to enjoy the spoils of the hunt when they are brought back to the pack, but he has little interest in actively participating in the chase.
He is THE champion lounger, mastering the art of relaxation like no other. He can spend hours lying in the soft moss of the forest floor.
