Biography
OakStep was trying to recruit wolves and hunt to prepare for Winter. Trotting around her territory, she stumbled upon a beautiful wolf with a particular blue nose. Oakstep noticed the pouncing position the wolf was in. She carefully & quietly laid down in between the tall grass, letting the trees' s shade further conceal her.
Limbs coiled in preparation for the kill, the wolf dashed out from the bush and chased the rabbit closest to her.
Three. Three swift rabbits scattered across the forest; however, the mysterious wolf was faster.
Oakstep followed the wolf, refusing to lose her scent. After what seemed like mere moments from encountering the speedy hunter, Oakstep thoughtfully gazed at the wolf, pondering how to best approach her.
Oakstep emerged from her hiding place, leisurely trotting forth. She was immediately met with hostility, the wolf in front of her quickly setting a clawed paw in front of the fresh kills. She let out a low growl, staring at Oakstep ad if to say I dare you.
Seeing the potential within her, Oakstep changed demeanor and straightened up. With a mighty paw of her own, she boldly took a step closer. Fixing her eyes onto the opposing wolf, she let out a thundering bark, letting it ring through the forest with intensity.
The mystery wolf stood her ground, locking eyes; however, she let out a surprised yet impressed woof back. She expectantly waited for Oakstep's next move.
"What is your name, wolf?" Oakstep projected.
"I am called Sunstroke." Sunstroke firmly replied.
"Sunstroke, I watched you kill your prey in a matter of seconds. Within my pack, we not only survive, but thrive within the mountains. We have a strong and capable hunt group; with your adept speed and agility, we will thrive together."
At the mention of teamwork, SunStroke hid a malicious smile.
"So it shall be."

Trekking through the deciduous forest, Oakstep led the way towards the Blazecrown's home. It was a little past nightfall, and everything was at peace. Soft pawsteps against grass, crickets preforming their nightly symphonies, and the occasional hoot of an owl could be heard. Sunstroke made sure to fall back behind Oakstep, watching her walk.
