She feels her heart calling upon her to stay when she visits the Moonshadow Ring and discovers an entire cave filled with puppies that need sitting and adolescents that need teaching. Right away she settles in, comforted by knowing her previous pack wishes her well and offers its support to her. Birch's callousness doesn't bother her so much. She's raised many puppies, and has seen many leaders over the years with varying levels of immaturity. Birch is very young for a leader. He will learn. Wisdom will come with time.
