Yana is the lastborn of Cora and Lady. At first, she wanted to become a Warrior just like her mother but decided to follow her sisters in the Hunting Apprenticeship. She's a bit slow in learning, as it took several tries to eventually hunt down a small rodent, unlike her sisters. Yana lacks a bit of confidence in herself, whenever she fails, she tends to give up. Luckily, she can count on the support of her family. The moment she made her first kill, she was overjoyed. It gave her a boost of confidence and now, she can't wait to graduate and receive her official title.
Yana is nicknamed that Dark Huntress, referring to her dark coat. It was also a title her father has, which was passed down on him by his father, Crow. The title actually dates back to her great-grandmother, Kayleen, who was nicknamed the Dark Warrior before she took on the role of Scout. Despite the fact, there are numerous dark-coated wolves in the pack, this title is only reserved for the line that Kayleen has started (just like the Silver wolf title created by Snow)
