Previously called Setting Sun, Rooted Wisp is the last of a litter of 4 born to Estrella and Dorado. She was the runt of her litter, and the largest pup was lost to illness before their naming.
She is spoken of often in hushed whispers by pack members, due to her status as Sister of the Lost. Her two brothers, named just before they were given to the spirit Brognah in the hopes of pacifying her, were called Golden One and Silver Gift. They were named in this way to give them luck and protection against the Faelcu, and whatever may await them in the In Between place. Rooted Tree was a dark gold like her father at her birth, but after her brothers were taken, her appearance slowly changed to the way it is now. She was renamed, due to her experience, to Rooted Wisp, showcasing her ties to the pack, the mortal realm, and wherever her brothers were taken.
Because of her change, and unlucky associations, many in the pack refuse to work with her. Lobo, her parents, and a few others are the only ones willing to train her, or spend time with her in general. In spite of this, she is a calm and happy wolf with those she trusts, though she is quick to snap at others, and is prone to bouts of silence.
