With Two Rivers' last lead Hemlock in his twilight hours, neice Magpie took her place as the new head. She was not Hemlock's first choice, though he knew she would keep the pack safe. The rest of the pack was wary as she was of hostile temperament and a child of the supposed fae Isbre, but her natural leadership skills were immediately apparent. She was accepted, although some elders harbor fear of her ambitions. There are others, however, that see a ghost of founder Freya in her unwavering determination.

Magpie is more strict with patrols and hunting parties, running a tight ship. Pups are trained and tested and driven out at adolescence if they don't meet her high standards.

Her father Isbre is a close confidante and very influential in pack guidance.
