Flash is fast. She was the fastest member of her pack. She could chase down any pray. When she met Sabek, he was racing recklessly through across the plains after a buck he could never hope to catch. Flash waited for the perfect moment, then like a shot she was off, leaping though the air and sinking her teeth deep into the buck's tender neck. As she stood over the kill, she watched as Sabek approached, her head tilted curiously to see if he would challenge her for the kill. To her surprise, he sat at a respectful distance and waited as she ate her fill. She had never known an alpha to concede such a meal without a fight and it was her curiosity that  caused her to follow him back to his den. Since then she has been his right paw, sitting beside Sabek and his mate and guiding the pack (and the hunters) to prosperity.
