Maple The Wolf From Flames
Maple remembers her mother, enormous trees that created a green roof above their heads, and the deep, earthy scent of their home.
The bright monster took everything one day. It doesn't talk. It has no face or eyes. It just spreads and fills the air with black clouds. It eats trees and wolves. It eats mothers.
Mud found her. Equally scared and confused by the monster that destroyed The Forest.
