The Sounds Carried In The Breeze You approach Breezesplash noticing he is telling tales to some puppies. You decide to sit and listen in.
"I was a dispersal male wolf from the HurricanePack and was traveling through the forest when I heard something. The cries of squeaks carried by the wind, my ears fluttered to the sound as I closed my eyes to focus on it. The moment I located the sound I followed the wind toward the noise. When I approached I spotted two wolf pups at the base of a tree! Newborns! What were newborns doing here and not in a den? Where were their parents?! They didn't look the same age or like siblings. I need to act so I decided to wait with the pups until someone returned however, after a few hours the pup's cries were weakening. I knew I couldn't wait any longer or risk them starving. I had to find their milk... that was a near-impossible task. But just as I thought it was impossible, my mind flashed to The Enclave where I knew of a bear that could help.
Lillemor was that bear, she runs an Enclave for abandoned pups and is known as Mother Bear by all. With the newborns in my mouth and plan in my head, I made my way to the Enclave. When I arrived I gently set the pups down by Lillemor's paws. Lillemor looked at the pups and then I spoke "I cannot take pups who are not weaned. You must return them to their mother." The bear said in a hushed tone. I nodded in agreement that they should be with their mother before explaining the situation to her. Lillemor hummed as she thought with a paw to on her chee, soon she stood up. "Give me a moment" I watched the bear wander before returning to me with a recipe for milk. I was too stunned to talk, but eventually found my voice and thanked the bear. "I hope you're right." I said with fear in my voice."
The story comes to an end with Breezesplash telling the pups that no matter how hard life gets there is always a way to get through even if it seems impossible.
Bones Strengthen & New Allies Breezesplash is lying in a clearing, you approach him for a story.
"My sons Jay and Lynx grew they became old enough to help me out on hunts. During each hunt, I spotted Lynx eyeing the plants around us and Jay focusing on only the chase. Their personalities were growing day by day and they grew up fast. I knew my days were numbered compared to theirs. Knowing this I knew I had to find us a pack to join or create our own. So we entered the Grasslands to decide what to do. That is when we found a small pack, The Firepelt Pack. Three adults, two adolescents, and three pups. I could tell they were struggling to keep the younger ones' bellies full. I destain seeing young ones hunger so I asked if I could join... and well from there we became a part of the pack. A few new wolves joined and some of us wolves even created a hunting party named Team Alpha. That is where I met my mate Winterstream, I didn't even know she liked me until she confessed one night... ah but that is a story also for another time."
He chuckles.
"I'm glad to live long enough to see my mate give birth one last time. I can only hope I can make it to the next litter. If I live that long."
