Unlike his brother who had a purpose for searching for a new pack, Charles did not. They were both puppies when they decided to run away. It was his idea and he had dragged Mahogany with him. Luckily Cedar had found them before they could get themselves too hurt while on a scouting mission. Since then, he's always looked up to the alpha male and intends to impress him despite his impulsive nature and lack of self control.
