One of Alp and Shale's children. Coal shares in common with her brother Pine, being the most motivated among her siblings. Though Coal had thought she was destined to become a hunter just like her parents, she was also intrigued by Fjord's proficiency in herbalism and foraging. She would ultimately accept training from the the herbalist, and become Fjord's assistant. Coal is presiding over most of the herbalist duties now, in midst of Fjord's declining health.
