One of Polar and Bear's children. Hoar is the most responsible among her siblings. As a pup, she would always keep the others in check, insisting that they don't do anything reckless. It didn't always work, though, since they'd go along with what North said anyway.
She grew up to become a formidable hunter who took her job seriously. Following Shale's retirement, she now leads the Shards. She's known for being cold, firm, and withdrawn, even towards her own family members. Yet, lately, it seems a certain sarcastic wolf (Woodpecker) has managed to catch her eye.
