Youth
Hailing from an overall unknown origin, Mørkelse happened upon a big, gray she-wolf near his homelands in the mountains and followed her.
Somehow he had managed to wake up in a lunar dream, full of terrifying and odd glowing lands full of animals alien-yet alike to the lands he's familiar with. When Mørkelse saw this she-wolf somewhat appearing to come from his world, he felt safe for once. She appeared fully confident in this world and her coat was fairly dusted in the strange blue spores that hung in the air and covered everything- except his own pelt. For some reason every being, even the unintelligent lifeforms reeled at his presence.
Giant bear-like animals and other predators with blue and aqua growths sniffed him as though considering eating him like any other lost pup, but turned away and moved on with their lips curled as though he were too far rotten. Other wolves of this world took one glance and either took off with tucked tails, or stared with a look of horror.
Bhavna, the gray she-wolf, offered him refuge and he followed, but not too much later she changed her mind and told him she didn't know how to bring him out of the dreamlands. He still followed her a bit further back and watched her nestle into a den with a horde of goods and currency surrounding the pallid fur nest. After being certain she was asleep, he curled up close to her and cherished her milk-scent as he dozed off.
Mørkelse awoke to a litter of tiny pups staring at him all with the same horrified expression most wolves wear when seeing him.
