Twine yawned, waiting for any bird at all to come. He didn't know if the nesting material was wrong or if it was something else, but figuring it out makes for a valuable lesson.
Comet built a small obstacle course. Twine was required to remain undetected and surprise a packmate resting at the end.
Hyacinth showed Twine that every time they take an herb from nature, they must put a small piece of it back into the earth. This is so the herb can sprout again and continue to provide what the pack needs.
