Shadow of Azalea

 Azalea, Swallowtail, and Seishin are longtime partners. The first true structure of the pack began during this time, with Swallowtail taking up the mantle as the leader, while Seishin and Azalea became the first hunters, or honor guard. The first meeting was rocky, with Swallowtail being accompanied by  seemingly injured random wolf.

 As Azalea grew older, she began to see Grizzly in a different light; a more flattering one. Having pairbonded a little later in life, the two grew together happily. A little later and the two decide to have a litter of pups. While maybe not the best idea at the time, three pups were born, originally named Epitograph, Abstinence, and Resolve. Later, Azalea renamed the two surviving ones "Polar Blooms" and "Silhouettes of Petals" after her own name, in a short rememberance of her old family's naming rituals, and her own once-mate.

 Well aware that her time is running short, Azalea, like Fire, is keeping an eye on the younger wolves in the pack for a successor to her finishing career, or a second. So far, no wolf she's seen has met her capabilities, although there are still many pups left to judge.
