Mint is a traveling wolf! This means he spends 3-5 days, no longer than a week, with a pack before moving on to another place. You can check out the groups rules here and forum thread here

• Please DO NOT chase him. He belongs to Hazel (#27737) and she will take him for a brief return home if he cannot find a place to travel to.


• Please DO NOT remove any markings from him or run him through the customizer.


• Please DO feel free to allow him to run in a pack role such as scouting or pupsitting, but not as a hunter or herbalist. It is easy to forget he needs to leave otherwise!


• Please DO add markings but ONLY using applicators.


• Please DO add decor, backgrounds, and markings to him.

Starting Stats: 248

Mint turned a year old on July 22nd, 2021, and decided he wanted to explore the world. With his pack leader's approval, he left for new places, new stories, and new ideas. [Hazel #27737]

Traveling through the taiga in late fall, Mint stayed with the Sun Stealers for a few days. It was a cold fall, and the snow stuck to his fur. [Lionel #34199 | added: light snow | used opacity changer: white patchy unders -> 100%]

After traveling through taiga, Mint found himself at the base of the mountains greeted by the leader of the Demon Slayers, a large friendly wolf by the name of Inosuke. He soons finds himself next to their herbalist, Tamayo, teaching him how certain herbs can cure certain diseases and side effects. After a couple weeks, he find that he is again off to explore

When Mint was traversing across the desert, he fell and got his hind paw stuck amongst the rocks! Thankfully, he ran into Apricus's Wayfinder, Coop, who was willing to help pull the rocks away. Despite a deep gash, Mint was otherwise unharmed! (Added scar: foot by unknown)

Proteus, one of the Flint pack scouts, found Mint as he wandered and took him to see their herbalist. Void tended to his wound as best she could, and the pack offered him a safe haven for a few days while he recooperated. Once he was well enough once more, the pack said theid farewells, sending their friend off with a little better luck. (Hidatsu#30226 added Bone decor 8/21/2021)

On his venture through the tundra, Mint found a pack traveling in search of a new home. He met a wolf named When I'm Small as they walked. He intrigued him, being so aggressive towards every wolf here but one named Rat. Mint made an effort to try and talk to him as he had a soft spot for these kinds of wolves. This turned out to be somewhat of a mistake. Rat told him to... go away, in nicer terms haha. What an amusing couple they made. Mint decided it was best if he took his leave after a few days with the Tellurian. (Rannoch #38823 added 8/29/2021 || added Arctic Tundra BG)

The next pack he came across in a forest was intrigued at the color of his fur. They had a wolf with a pelt like his, but darker, and they got along famously for the time that he stayed with them. His heart was in the wind before he set off once more. [confetti 17818 added ebony jewelwing]

He found a pack filled with colorful wolves next. The Dragon's Claws were rather low on food, but they made sure to always have him fed. His imaginative nature helped him get along with many. The only thing was, he wasn't sure if he was hallucinating, but there was a dragon-like outline following him as he departed. As soon as he payed attention to it though, the shadow gave him a toothy, warm smile, and then it disappeared… strange. He shivered, and went on his way.

Next stop: the prairie. He hadn't been here before, but he heard great things about the packs in the grassy biome. As soon as he crossed over the threshold, he spotted a rather large pack, with more adolescents and pups than they could handle. He offered to become a Pupsitter, and he was hastily swamped in puppies. The pack told him that they were trying to get to the swamps, but their efforts were proving to be futile, and they needed an extra set of paws. He thought they were rather lucky he stumbled upon them. After enjoying a particularly large carcass one day, a raven decided to land upon his head and caw indignantly whenever he tried to remove her. He guessed she didn't want to leave. In the winter of his third year, Mint passed through the territory of the Sun Stealers. It was a nostalgic place: this had been the first pack to offer him shelter when he was a young traveler. He spent a few days with the pack, mostly staying in the pups' den, keeping them safe and warm. [Lionel #34199]

The Rockford Pack was the next to take him in, fall was beginning to turn to winter, so he decided to stay until the spring. Making sure to help out the Den-Keepers where he could, and when not doing that he stayed amongst the other Travelers in their own space in the dens. Kept comfortable and well fed through the winter, even with the strange goings on happening in the world as of late...once Spring was well and started, he felt it was a good a time as any to resume his journeys.

It was spring already but weather was rough anyway. After days of traveling in rain and harsh wind he entered terrains of the Gravemaw Pack. It's leader was known of taking travelers to his den with open paws so he wasn't afraid at all. Pack was having good time, hunters kept everyone well fed. Mint went for foraging with local herbalist a few times, he hated staying somewhere without paying back. Adolescents were curiously asking him about his journeys, which he eagerly answered.
After few days he left them with a smile on his muzzle.

As winter nears, the air had a chill as he walked along the river. As he walked, he heard a pup playing in the bushes nearby and a wolf calling the pup's name. He looked around but found a pup hidden in a small bush, with her tail wagging. "Hello, Traveler." Kitsune spoke softly with a smile," Welcome to Blackmane Pack. If you don't mind helping, can you find one more pup for me? I think she is nearby." They both chuckled as Mint pretended to look around. The pup then disappeared into the bushes and ran out," Boo!" The pup giggled as everyone jumped and laughed as well. "Thank you, Traveler." She bowed lightly and continued," Come! Let us meet our Alpha, Itsuki, so we can properly welcome you to our pack." Mint bowed and feel very comfortable as these wolves are very welcoming. He then stayed to help train young pups and helped the Herbalist forage for herbs. While he stayed, he had many pups asking him many questions about his journey. He told them many parts of his stories, which left pups asking for more. He knew it is time for him to move on and hopes that he will return here in his travels.

It was a long time since he'd visited one of his old friends. And they were both just that by now: old. She was ready to retire any day now, and informed him it was good of him to visit when he did or they might not have had a chance to say goodbye. They filled each other in on their lives; he, evidently, had more exciting stories to share. But she seemed content to listen to him, to describe the changes she'd observed in her pack. Mint was glad to hear everything from her point of view, and to watch the pack life around them as they reminisced on their younger days. [confetti #17818 added lunar rain]

He hadn't intended on running across an old pack, and yet, here he was. The pack, the one that was trying to get to the Swamps, was still in the prairie. He felt bad for them, and offered to be of assistance to them. During his days there, he met a younger wolf who went by the name of Eabha Coamhánch, the healer's daughter and apprentice. They quickly became friends, her teaching him about some of the strange herbs that had been appearing lately, and him telling her of his many travels. As a sign of their friendship, she went into her den one day and returned with a headpiece that glowed a fiery blue, slipping it over his head. She told him that it will always keep him warm, even in the coldest of places.

After wandering for a little while he came upon a pack in the mountains. The mountains were always a cool place even in summer but it was especially bad during the winter season. He was thankful for the headpiece from the previous pack. While his time within the Adolphus pack he played with the pups and told his stories of his travels, the pups and adols espeically loving the stories. Before leaving one of the pups brought him a hibernating friend a spicebush swallowtail explaining that when spring came it would end it's hibernation and when it was his time to pass this little fella would be with him to help guide him to the stars. He only stayed a few days before starting to head back to his home pack. He was getting old and tired and was ready to have a final resting place.
