Matavo

You delicately pick your way through a dense copse of trees and brush at the foothills on the edge of the pack's territory. You find yourself a little turned around, though stubbornly refuse to admit to being thoroughly lost. 

"Well, hey there." A voice startles you out of your troubled thoughts, and you turn to see a friendly looking male step into view, his head tilted to one side curiously. "I was wondering who I was smelling walking in circles."

"Though I'm sure you were just trying to confuse your trail right? Its too bad your tricks are no match for this super sniffer." He said with a wink. He brushes past you, casting a glance back. "I was just heading back from scouting, you're welcome to come with. Or, you know, you could stay here. Circling." 

He chuckles at you as you catch up, looking over at you again. "Name's Matavo, by the way. I'm a member of Clockwork, lead by Roma. Have you met Roma yet? She's something else. When I got here, and saw her? Man, I knew I had to be a part of whatever she had going on. She had this look about her, you know? Like she was doing things. Important things. But exciting, important things. Adventures. And I wanted to be a part of that." He seems enthusiastic about Roma, his eyes lighting up as he nearly bounces along. 

"I already knew there was something about this place, I mean, when I say something's great, it's great,. And this place? Great. I had been around the neighborhood a little, my original pack isn't too far from here, but far enough we never have any run-ins. They're alright, just not my cup of tea, you know? Seemed too old-school. This new batch, they're good folk. They might be home, you could go around, say hi, if you want. Storm should be there at least, she watches the young-uns." You break through the brush at last, and sigh in relief as you look around you. 

"I gotta hurry back, they're expecting me. So a little less chit-chat, a little more running. If you can keep up!" Matavo says as he dashes up the mountainside.
