Archi

Archi is a short 68cm (~27 inches) at the shoulders, with a more delicate build than most wolves - she isn't built for running, nor fighting. Her fur is thick and soft, and shines easily in the right lighting, as it can be a bit oily compared to others.

A quiet wolf within the pack, Archi likes the company of most of her packmates, and especially gets excitable when her sister, Rain, is around. She is not afraid to speak her mind, and will point out things that seem off. Small things being off in the environment are very easy for her to pick out, as she is quite sensitive to these things.

She is the youngest Advisor to have been picked within the pack (she was a yearling at appointment), and after a while of being this powerful role, she has grown more confident in herself. After King Oliva's death, she has taken the reins and become King herself.

A KING'S FALL

November 30th 2024
King Oliva's actions were going to catch the ire of her packmates eventually, and when she goes out on a trip with Subordinate Parise, to supposedly catch the Leads Fawn and Cassiterite, she is instead ambushed at the top of a cliff by Oso, who had made her return.

Just when she thinks she has control over the situation, Parise shoved her off of the cliff, resulting in her death, while her body cushioned Oso's own fall.

Once the King's death is discovered by everyone else, Advisor Archi takes the reins, and the pack, despite their current grieving, are hopeful of a better future.

WHEN LUCK RUNS OUT

For over a year now, a cannibalistic wolf by the name of Oso has terrorized the locals of the Grasslands, Deciduous Forest, and Riparian Woodlands... but she had also had a vendetta against the Hazeline pack.

King Archi had been meticulously planning on how they can finally be rid of this monster, so that her pack can finally prosper without a constant threat lurking around the corner. No matter how determined her pack was in the past, even back in King Oliva's reign, Oso seemed to just get lucky, and somehow escape getting killed every time, sometimes through means that realistically should have killed her dead.

Finally, on one fateful day when she sends Advisor Cera out with Subordinate Trail, along with Leads Fawn and Cassiterite, the hunt yields a success, with Oso having been felled by Cassiterite.

With this victory, the Hazeline pack now can wander their territory more safely, and they have gained respect from many nomads and packs from the areas the treacherous cannibal had left her marks.

WHEN SHADOWS ENCROACH

March 19th 2025
Just as life seems to be getting back into normalcy, four litters of healthy pups having been born within the Hazeline pack, things really are looking up...

Until a strange disease hits Subordinate Bubinga, anyway. A disease that worsens in the dark, only cured by sunlight... though the pack didn't know what this entailed until it was far too late. During a hunt one day, the pack comes back to Advisor Cera quarreling with Bubinga, trying to stop her from doing more damage.

Six pups out of fourteen had been killed when the infected wolf so suddenly snapped.

And Subordinate Nighthad been bit when he jumps in to try and stop the fighting. Thankfully, the light from Night's antlers and attire causes Bubinga to snap out of it.

After a tense several nights of keeping Night and Bubinga in quarantine, they eventually find patient zero: Fawn.

It takes a while longer for them to figure out that sunlight gradually cures the inflicted.

Despite the heavy losses, the pack makes the most of it. Though by time everything is said and done, the damage is done, and Bubinga disperses soon after she is cured, ridden by guilt.
