Nova and his brother Nitis were found by Lykoi, the pack leader, as a very young puppies. They were hiding in the brush alone and afraid. Their mother's scent was no where to be found. Lykoi decided to bring them back to the pack and adopt them as their own. He knew they would not survive without their mother and the likelihood of them reuniting was very slim. Besides that nothing else is known about their background. Lykoi believes they come from a far away pack in the mountains due to their markings and how high up in altitude he found them when he was on a 3 day scouting trip from his territory.
